Allister Brimble will create up to date versions of his best musical works from the Commodore Amiga on a double CD album.

I have received many requests to create new versions of my tracks in the past, but I never felt I could improve on them.. until now. The technology exists to inspire me to create new versions of my tunes for these much loved games from the Commodore Amiga. The cover artwork you see is not the final product. The artwork will be created by Rico Holmes, the amazing artist behind the Team 17 graphics and inspired by one of his original Amiga pictures!

The games shown are a random selection of the music that will be featured but will include many more! Requests for particular tracks are most welcome! Thanks to Team17 & Rico for use of these artworks!

If you have a credit card you must use kickstarter to pay, using the options on the right, however if you do not then I am now able to accept a paypal payment. Click on the PayPal icon above to do so. It is limited to option 3 though (one CD, one download code) for easy tracking.

The task of recreating my Amiga music to modern day standards is time consuming and expensive and the cost represents my work along with CD pressings and postage to the UK. I also need to be assured of selling a minumum 500 copies since this is the minimum CD run possible and kickstarter is the perfect way to achieve this.

Rest assured if my target is not met, your credit card will not be charged and if for any reason I was unable to complete the project I would refund you in full.

  • I'm a backer, can I request a track?

    Yes! If I have the rights to produce the track and you think one of them should be included then let me know and I will do my best.

  • Why do I need your funds?

    This project is for the love of the Amiga, not to make money.
    I have calculated that from the project goal 50% of the money will go on making the CD's / posters and USB sticks and the rest will help me to live during the 6 to 8 months of music writing incase I have no other work.

  • Will I be able to buy CD's direct, after the kickstarter project?

    There might be a few leftovers, but the only way to guarantee you'll get a copy is to pledge now!

  • Whats the difference between the Sounds Digital tracks on the USB stick and the CD or freely available versions?

    The USB stick contains remastered tracks. It's the only place to get them. The Sounds Digital CD was not mastered correctly. Today I have many more tools at my disposal.. reverb / EQ / compression to make them all sound much better! These will be on the USB stick!

  • Is there a paypal option

    There is good and bad news..
    The bad news is, Kickstarter doesn't support paypal and I do not want to lose track of paypal payments when I might be busy on other work.

    The good news is, that after I have created the CD, sometime near the end of next Summer I will use paypal to sell it!  This is fine as I am happy to only just reach my 13K goal and then sell the other CD's afterwards. Everyone will still get their CD's at almost the same time.
