Christa has spent her career in the field of learning design, creating online, multimedia training programs for corporate and not-for-profit clients. Raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired her to create Flummox and Friends by applying her talents and experience in writing, media production, and leading multi-disciplinary teams. While a student at Northwestern University, she was head writer for a student-produced children's television project, Invisible Bus, which won a college Emmy award. Christa and her family live in Oakland, California.
I'm so thrilled the goal has been made for this! My autistic daughter is already asking when she can see it based on just watching the intro on the funding video!

Begin the holiday season with a warm, fuzzy feeling that you are a part of project which has the potential to touch the lives of our children. Invest in the future. Disregard the Black Friday circulars which are trying to make you believe that happiness is attained by a gift which will be forgotten, almost as soon as it is unwrapped. Think outside of the box. Change your paradigm!!
This is an amazing idea for a must-see show - and it made me cry, because it is just what we need. As the mother of a boy with Aspergers this will hit the spot with both humor and depth. Thank you so much! I wish you all the succes in the world!

Excellent concept and so far...great execution! I'm excited to see the show and I don't even have or work with kids that this targets :) I've shared with everyone I know....I'll be watching those numbers in the coming days. What a great idea for a show! It sounds like it will help kids across the board to cope with often-puzzling social cues and to relate to one another. And Christa, you're a natural on camera! Best of luck with this project.
What better place is there to pledge our support then in our future; the children who are struggling to find their places in our world. They are our future; they are the leaders of tomorrow, who will hopefully guide our world to a more peaceful and loving place. Kudos for all of your efforts to begin this gestation of an idea!
