We love making ultra delicious craft ice cream. People love eating our ultra delicious craft ice cream. A fabulous NYC restaurant now wants to buy our ultra delicious craft ice cream to serve on their menu. We want to make MORE of our ultra delicious craft ice cream for you and the restaurant, but that means we need a professional machine and freezer and need to move to a commercial kitchen to make the ice cream on the weekends.

We got back from Ice Cream Science School in January and can't wait to get to work on even more flavors and combinations.  As an added bonus, everything we make is gluten-free including our toppings, waffle cones, cookies and ice cream cone shaped dog biscuits (inspired by the real life Luca and Bosco).

After years of successfully pursuing traditional career tracks in corporate America (Catherine) and government (Ruthie) we are finally giving into our undeniable passion for food. What began as a manageable fascination with food, has been seriously fueled by living in such a dynamic culinary city such as NYC for the last 10 years. Whether it's dining (and documenting) at world-famous restaurants, organizing outings to sample the delicious and diverse Latin food trucks at the ball fields in Red Hook, touring (and tasting) all ice cream purveyors below 14th St., organizing fabulous bacon parties (yes, bacon-themed parties! The bacon party is where we first featured our first ice cream creations to our friends: bourbon ice cream w/ candied bacon, salty caramel w/ bacon sprinkles, and roasted brown sugar banana ice cream w/ candied bacon mix-in pieces), or slow-braising meat to perfection to feed to our friends for Sunday night dinners, we just can’t get enough! We love to EAT food (we’ll taste just about anything!), COOK food, FEED food to our friends, photograph it and blog about it...yes, some might call us a little obsessed! It has become undeniable that this is what we should be doing with our lives, so please help us follow our passions!

Catherine is the mom of Luca, a 2 year old, 5 pound, white Maltese.

Ruthie is the mom of Bosco, an 8 year old, 90 pound, chocolate Lab.

They are the inspiration for the name and the reason we are making ice cream cone shaped dog biscuits.  We don't want our canine friends left out of the ice cream fun.
