Thanks to all of our supporters so far! We are really close. Also please know that any funds we receive above our goal will go directly to our actors, so please don't hesitate to support local artists working on locally produced, independent film.

During the Summer of 2012 students in Chattanooga State's PFTT 249 Filmmaking class are embarking on an ambitious project--to produce a short feature film. Students in the program have worked on a variety of short films in the past, but this year we are taking it to a new level. We have acquired a 50-page script from a reputable screenwriter and are in the development phase of production already. 

We have the time, talent, most of the equipment and resources needed to produce this film--but zero budget. Our goal is to raise the funds to pay for items such as:

• to rent some additional equipment
• to pay our actors (more of an honorarium, but we don't want them to starve)
• to build a set (on stage in our Humanities Theatre)
• craft services (a hungry crew is less productive)

We can do this, but only with your help. Help Chattanooga State students learn the craft of filmmaking as they complete their first feature film.
