About this project
My assistant editor and I are looking to raise $1500 for a print run of the first issue of Broad!, a literary zine we launched to publish exclusively female-bodied or female-identified writers and artists.
Broad! has been talked about on the popular culture website Autostraddle, as well as retweeted by people such as Margaret Atwood and the Poetry Foundation. We have been lucky enough to receive over 100 submissions of poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction, photography and other forms of visual art -- but we won't be able to issue a print edition without raising more funds.
