iVote is the untold, true story of how a part-time typist blew the whistle on the biggest presidential election fraud since Watergate.

Steve is a legal typist faced with a crisis of conscience when he discovers that his boss is covering up a fraud that could change the fate of the 2004 Presidential election.  Leaking the information could cost Steve everything; doing what's right is not always legal.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER  

 Rob Adler

My father marched with Dr. King and my parents met working at the New Jersey Peace Center during the Vietnam war.  I was raised with the belief that people of conscience could change the world.  Until I became an activist myself, I never realized how difficult it could be for someone to do the right thing.  The real life heroes of this story gave me my first job in Los Angeles, where I moved after college.  They were a loving couple, community minded.  Hollywood was on strike that year and they produced a play that told the story of a group of workers deciding whether or not to go on strike.  Steve was grateful for his job, it allowed him to pay his bills and have his days free to pursue the arts.  He encouraged me to consider similar employment as I began my life as an artist.  He and Michelle had me to dinner and welcomed me to my new city.  It was clear immediately that they loved and were loved by their community.  When I learned of Steve's situation years later, I felt at a loss for how to help.  But I am a story teller, and stories well told have the ability to change people's lives.  Even short films are expensive to produce, but sometimes a movie can be more than entertainment.  I hope that you will help me tell this story in the highest quality and reveal how doing what’s right is more important than doing what’s easy.
