About this project
The first point in our story will be the ever-growing social media aspect. Children now live in a world that is hardwired into a global network of constant status updates and tweets. The most troubling factor of this is the sheer amount of influence social media has on children and the potential problems that could arise. We would like to include the dangers of social media, but also the benefits it can have if used correctly.
Our story is told through the eyes of our main character (potentially named by one of our contributors) as he/she meets and interacts with a number of other characters. Each has their own story to tell and lesson learned along the way. The main character of the story learns how to make the right choices (sometimes the hard way) through these interactions and how to overcome life’s obstacles.
We look forward to creating a story that can be enjoyed by children and parents alike through a unique combination of humor and sincerity.

Meet Zach, the author
My name is Zach and I developed my interest for writing early in high school when I started writing short skits and plays for my high school drama club. In college I began writing short stories in various genres and also started writing articles and essays freelance. I have worked on a number of projects, both large and small, as a content writer and concept developer. I am currently working on a book series in my spare time also. As far as my education is concerned, I have a B.A. in English and I am pursuing my masters.
