Hi! Thank you for stopping by and checking out our project. With your help and support we hope to make TagEm footwear a reality and get them on as many pair of feet as possible!

TagEm footwear began while running a footwear accessory business selling shoe laces and tags offering kids & teens a way of customising their footwear. I have a rather large collection of sneakers and a passion for design from products to packaging. With these interests I designed and developed a new way customising our own range of footwear that makes it very easy to be individual in a subtle but unique way.

In a traditional shoe the comfort and cushioning is built into the sole unit with a thin insole places on top. This is placed in the sole unit of the shoe between the sole (tread) & insole which is not removable. We worked on a way of removing this fixed cushioning and place the comfort into our removable insoles. If you then add a clear tread you are now able to see the under side of our removable insole which is patent pending.

We have two styles of trainers we are launching with.

The TagEm Kubo lo: A below the ankle style trainers.

The TagEm Kubo hi: Am above the ankle basketball style trainer.

NOW this is the fun part! You can draw, write, tag, graffiti or print on the base of the insole that can then be seen VERY clearly when you lift up your shoe! You can have your favourite sports team, pop idol, cartoon character, dance troupe name, school or your very own design! THE DESIGN POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS! and so very easy!

We provide insole templates for every size via www.tag-em.co.uk and you place your design into the outline. Once you have your design in place you then use our fabric paper that will fit into any house hold printer and print! The fabric sheets have a slightly adhesive back that holds your design in place. Cut out the printed design, stick it to the under side of your insole, slide it back into the shoe and..........you have a customised sole all of your own!

We wanted to make sure that the TagEm experience starts as soon as you receive your sneakers. As a sneaker collector, I became tired of spending alot of money on "limited edition" sneakers that looked great but came in a standard box etc. Our goal was to have a great looking range, in great packaging, with extra shoe laces and very bright insoles which we believe we have achieved on all counts.

We all have a brother, sister, nephew, niece, son, daughter, cousin or neighbour that will go nuts over these trainers! and I know there will be some 20 somethings and 30 somethings that would love to give this a try too! (Don't be shy, I am 33 and I came up with the idea!) So whats stopping you pre-ordering a pair for yourself or a youngster you know and be the coolest big brother, sister, dad, mum, auntie, uncle, god father, god mother, cousin etc. They could then be the first person in their group of friends or school to have these trainers! and we all know how much we all want to be the first!

We are already working on the next accessory for our range, which we will shine some light on (A little hint there) over the coming weeks. We also have 4 new styles we have designed that will allow the range to grow over the coming season.

We are aiming to have our first order for our Kickstarter supports delivered within 3 months from the end of this campaign.

Once the campaign has finished you will all be sent an order form for you to select your size, style and colour.
