About The Project
RIPPED, a three phase comic book idea from creators Emma Caulfield (the actress, writer and producer, known for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Darkness Falls, Life Unexpected, and Timer) and Camilla Rantsen (Actress turned successful writer) Following the mold of their successful web comic Contropussy to be released this year by IDW, Emma and Camilla will first release Ripped on line (phase one), release as a graphic novel (phase two), and pitch the project as a television show later in the year (phase three). Ripped, centers around the rise of psychic phenomenon in London in the late 1800’s, against the backdrop of the end of the Victorian Age.Project Rewards
Where Will The Money Go?
No we won't be sunning on a yacht in the Mediterranean, not only because Emma is afraid of the ocean (sharks,) instead money raised will go to help fund phase one and two of the project. Those things include but are not limited to, payment for the illustrator, web designer/hosting site, printing of Issue 1 of ripped , (Some of which will go to five of our lucky pledgers) and finally research and development for our distribution. While the aim is to raise $10,000, know that any additional funds will be put to good use for such things as promotion or additional runs of the novel. Hi everyone, thanks so much for the overwhelming support, It really means a lot to both Camilla and I !!! So many of you have gone out of your way to support us and we are very grateful and we just started....right??We've had several Tweets and Facebook messages, asking if we can add more of this or that incentive due to some items being sold out. If you have any ideas that you would like to throw our way as possible rewards....DO IT!!! We will make it our mission to give back for all your amazing support.

Yesterday we got an email from another amazing supporter, they offered to donate a bunch of amazing things for us to sign. Stay tuned and as soon as we get everything organized we will get them up........BUFFY, LIFE UNEXPECTED maybe hahahaha

Update #4: After a Comic- Con weekend............
Posted just nowHey everyone, this is Emma and Camilla here. So after a weekend of Comic-con its time to update you on our amazing adventure. We are so grateful for all your support and after many requests from our beloved supporters we have added a bunch of great new stuff.
A great friend of ours donated some lovely things from LIFE UNEXPECTED and after a bunch of messages we added some of "your" ideas......

Posted just nowHey guys, this is Emma and Camilla here. We just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has helped so far in making our project come to life. We were on a steady climb towards our goal and in the last 24 hours its sky rocketed......so amazing!!!!!
We are going to continue to add incentives as more and more people are sending in donations and ideas for "unique" pledge concepts. That said we are going to push on, who knows what will happen, but for sure we wlll use any additional money to make phase 2 and 3 as successful as phase 1, plus adding a little "bonus' to all our pledgeeesss ( Is that a word) hahahaha

So we just wanted to shout out and thank everyone for blowing our goal out of the water, its truly amazing. Camilla and i are thinking of new incentives and trying to workout how we can thank everyone once the project ends....a little something extra.
