Kickstarter

When I first arrived in Virginia Beach I was introduced to a wonderful FM Radio talk show titled "The Mike and Bob Show."  This show instantly hooked me in and made my commutes to work, and the subsequent work day tolerable during the hours that they were on. 

Then one day I tuned to the radio station to find that the show was, to my dismay, cancelled due to a new ratings system.  The show had legions of fans as it had been on the air for near 10 years, now that it was gone us fans had a hole in our daily routine.

Soon though something was announced.  One half of the show, the Bob half, was starting his own Podcast with two other personalities also afflicted by the end of the radio show.  This Podcast is now known as Bob's Boneyard.

Now to the point of this project.  I am documenting the new trials and hurdles that these ex radio personalities are running into in the ridiculously competitive world of the internet.  The story is about a fall from grace, and the efforts it takes to recapture ones place in the world.  Is it possible for local celebrities to compete in the Podcast world with the likes of Hardwick and Carolla?  I intend to bring this information to light in comedic and touching ways.

Where you guys come in is helping to make this the best project possible.  I am in the early production phase of the film and realized that I need a few things to better this project.  This fundraiser will help with getting better sound quality for the overall film, better lighting to get more intimate interviews with the parties involved, more storage space for the footage I will be collecting, and also with promoting the film upon completion.

This is the first of many projects that will fall under my new film company "Way Out Films" and with your help this will be a great project. 

I also understand that not everybody is able to donate money, but if you would still like to help out with this project you can pass it along to any and everybody you can, word of mouth is the best advertising I could ask for.

There is some confusion from some who have viewed my project since they have never used Kickstarter before.  The donations you make do not get instantly charged, they are only charged if the project hits the goal by the end date.  If I do not reach my goal, you do not spend any money...I hope this explanation helps!
