Update #3: Whores of Mensa Mailing Starts This Weekend!
Update #2: Launch Party!!!!
Update #1: You're The Best!
Hello everyone!
Thanks so much for your backing of Whores of Mensa 5 - the Party Issue!
I have a big announcement - since we've MORE than met our goal, we're going to add 7 pages of comics to Whores of Mensa 5.
The creator of these seven glorious pages is Patrice Aggs, best known for her work in the DFC (a wonderful kids' comics magazine here in the UK) and her collaborations with Philip Pullman. Not to mention her association with John Aggs - her son! - who's one of the best young cartoonists in the UK.
Here's her site: http://www.patriceaggs.com
Patrice presented us with this fantastic story last weekend, on the off chance it might fit into the next issue. We loved it so much, we're putting it in the one you'll be receiving very soon. You'll now be receiving a 52 page issue, not the 44 page issue we've previously mentioned. (There's an extra page in there which will be put to use for necessary WoM propagandizing - ie, info about the creators.)
Please continue to spread the word about Whores of Mensa 5 - the more money we receive, the longer we can keep this issue in print.
Thanks so much! You're very very lovely people.
best wishes,
Ellen L. and the Whores of Mensa Team
