Thanks so much to our our loyal pre-orderers (and especially to those of you who have been so generous that you can only be called admired benefactors) - we're at our goal!
This morning I woke up to amazing art by Tanya Meditzky, Maartje Schalkx, Jeremy Day and - gasp! - MEGAN KELSO...we'll be so super-proud to send out our first issue to you all.

Update #1: New Faces...
Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for your support - I'm so grateful that we're within such a close distance of our goal, and I'm looking forward to sending big, fat, exciting packages to you once - fingers crossed! - that goal is reached.
It's a bit premature, but when we reach our goal we have some very interesting news about some Strumpets who - again, hopefully - we'll be able to bring on board with the increased funding.

Ellen Lindner is a cartoonist, writer and illustrator. She self-published her first graphic novel, Undertow in spring of 2009, and has been a part of the Strumpet's predecessor - Whores of Mensa - since 2005. A member of Deptford's Fleece Station arts studio, she enjoys playing with vintage sewing machines and exploring the further reaches of South London - when she's not doing comics, of course.
