A film about love and loss, "Quiet" reveals the story of a lesbian couple who are denied medical rights in a small town in Texas.
"Quiet" is the story of Ali, a woman forced to lie about her relationship to her wife Sam so that the two women can spend Sam's last moments together. Through flashbacks, the audience sees the couple's love story unfold, as well as the hardships Ali faces trying to be with and make medical decisions for Sam in the hospital.
This short film illuminates the struggles that same-sex couples face in medical crises because gay marriage is not federally recognized. We are raising funds so that we can make the best film possible to tell this compelling story.
Because they believe in the story and the message of "Quiet," we have assembled an incredible cast and crew who are willing to donate their time.
The money that we raise will be used for productions costs such as locations, equipment rental and feeding the crew.
