The Global Warming Initiative (globalwarminginitiative.com) is pleased to present “The Boy Who Cried Warming” on Kickstarter for an opportunity to welcome investors interested in assisting in the funding for a scientifically relevant in-depth documentary on the topic of Global Warming.

The feature length documentary “The Boy Who Cried Warming” approaches the subject of Climate Change from a more scientific point of view than previous films on the subject. The film evaluates on many of the common held misconceptions associated with Global Warming, offers a scientific overview of Carbon Dioxide on our planet, and takes an in depth look at various Carbon Trading legislation and its potential negative effects on the economies of the world.

What makes our film truly unique is the fact that we offer new interplanetary data on the topic of climate change. Also unique to “The Boy Who Cried Warming” is that the story of the film runs parallel to the Aesop fable “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” This is shown through the movie to portray that the shepherds of global warming most known are usually those who cry the loudest and make the boldest predictions. We believe that this film will strike the perfect informational and entertainment balance, and thus will prove to be a truly worthwhile cause and topic that you can enjoy and be proud of participating in.

This film is not an idea, nor is it in any pre-production stage; this is an opportunity to invest into a film that will allow you to see a product in a relatively short time. Our film has been completely shot in HD and rivals any documentary on the subject in terms of both quality and information. We have conducted 20 interviews with experts in fields ranging from Climatology, Astrophysics, Meteorology, Plant Pathology, as well as many other fields associated with Global Warming. The film simultaneously covers the political implications of proposed Cap-And-Trade legislation both nationally and internationally in an attempt to reach a world-wide audience with our material.

The film has been funded to this point solely by private investors interested in evaluating the current Global Warming phenomenon. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to join Kickstarter to allow for the public (THAT’S YOU!) to have a stake in a politically charged scientific debate that is far from over! 

The film is currently in the post-production stage, and all funds raised will go to post production sound design to add a final score over the film. Any surplus monies raised will go towards taking the film to a variety of film festivals this year to reach an ever-broadening audience. We hope that you see as much value in this opportunity as we do, and commit to make a donation (whatever the size) to “The Boy Who Cried Warming.”
