Thank you so much to everyone who supported this Kickstarter campaign.  It has been great sending books all over the country (and to Australia) and getting to talk to some of you.  I truly enjoy hearing what people think of my stories, especially how children respond to them.  It is my great hope to pass on a love of animals and nature to the young ones. 

This should be my last mass message to everyone, and I have one last request.  If you enjoyed the book(s) then please take a moment to leave a review on Amazon about them.  Not only do I love reading what people have to say in the reviews, but they are also critical for helping others find my books.

Mailing Books!

For everyone who has filled out the survey I have your book packaged and ready to ship out in the morning.  Be on the lookout! 

I will be dropping them at the post office on my way out of town for a week, but when I get back I will check for the last few surveys that I need information from and send the remaining books then.  Books that are being sent to libraries will also ship out at that time.  If anyone is having trouble with the survey you can always email me directly daisywrites@samsanimals.info.

It has been so much fun to see how the books are going all over the country and beyond.  Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Washington, Massachusetts, Missouri, Maryland, New York, California, and there is even a copy headed to Australia. 

I hope you all enjoy the book!

Quick Update:

Ended up having to do a few more edits to the final copy, but it is all completed now.  I put in the order for your books today.  They should get to me by June 9th.  Then I will be sending books out to my backers.   

I am also in the final stages of editing the second book in the series,"Samantha Hatches the Chicken Egg".  Matthew is finishing up the last of the illustrations and I am finishing up my formatting and edits.  Looking forward to publishing it in ebook format in July.  My backers from Kickstarter will the first to receive a copy!
