Who Am I?

Playhouse Productions was formed to produce The Playhouse Web series by Kate Danley and Richard Van Slyke. We had an amazing response to Season One and fans have been asking for more. I am doing this to raise money to make a second season possible.

About the Project

The Playhouse Soap Opera is a comedy web series that spoofs the soap opera genre. It is set in a small midwestern town community theater and involves the dramas that unfolds at The Mishawaka Playhouse in Indiana before the curtain rises on their latest production. There's murder, blackmail and more death leading up to opening night.

Why we need the money:

The first season was done with virtually no budget. It was a huge success but we need your help to bring Season Two to life. More characters are being introduced. More locations. More Special Effects! Your dollars will be used toward the purchase of new lights, sound equipment costumes, props location fees, and to pay for a crew (director of photography, editor, production coordinator, sound and lighting).
