Dear Friends, Family, and Fans:
First, thank you so much for your continued support. It means the world to us! :)
Thanks to your help, our album was heard by the U.K. record label, Folkwit Records, who decided to release a digipak CD in Europe of "The Raindrop Dance and Other Songs About Love." We have a huge amount of respect for the label. They release some of today's best pop like: Testbild!, Soy un Caballo, Orwell, Daniel Carlson, No Thee No Ess, John Southworth, and many more.
You can listen to all of those artists and see the slightly modified CD artwork for the Mr. and Mrs. Muffins album at www.folkwit.com. Truly amazing stuff happening there, and we are extremely grateful to be a small part of it...
Second, WE HAVE A GIG! In celebration of the CD release and delayed promotion for the vinyl, we will be performing at the Chapel Performance Space in Wallingford on June 26th. This also happens to be Mr. Muffins' 30th birthday. It will be a fun show with prizes and special performances by Zach Fleury and Song Sparrow Research. We will perform with a 12-piece group, featuring a string quartet and some of Seattle's best musicians (Alessandra Rose, Joey Walbaum, Shane Peck, Chris Stroh, Dana Wen, etc.) It is an all-ages show, too. So bring the kids!
