Help Erica Rose Jeffrey and  COUNTERPOINTE to take the dance piece War Letters to Chicago to perform as part of the Chicago Harvest Dance Festival in September.  It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the choreography and the dancers on a national level. War Letters is a dance quartet that explores the reality that so many people face of being separated from a loved one, either by physical or emotional distance. Those who are at war, those who have left home to try to make a better life, and those who are seeking to find themselves after returning home.  The piece is based on actual letters of war veterans and their families from the Civil War to the present. The music includes musician Katy Stephan’s original compositions. 

We almost have enough to go.... Money raised will be used to offset travel costs  and fees for four artists.

Any additional money raised will be used for the creation of a final interactive component for the piece incorporating interviews with veterans.
