Raising awareness of Captain Shorts, one shirt at a time!

If you follow The Apple on Twitter or Facebook then you already know about "Captain Shorts", but for the uninitiated, I'll catch you up quickly. Captain Shorts is a mysterious and powerful figure whose power is only exceeded by his mystery and whose mystery is only exceeded by his power. 

The Captain motivates the Mets to play their hardest at home and rewards them with a hearty high five afterwards.

The nickname started as a tweet and caught on pretty fast. Before you knew it #CaptainShorts was a meme! 

Mets fans would wait by their TV's during home games in hopes of seeing the boys in blue and orange high five their spiritual leader. 

For 2013, I'm hoping to raise awareness of this quiet hero who never shows his face to the camera...with these t-shirts. Is it a silly goal? Yes, but I'm a silly guy.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

The only challenge is finding a t-shirt printer who loves both the Mets and non-sense. Fortunately that part was easy. All I need now is the funding.
