Kickstarter

My name is Neal Binder-Wheeler. I'm an artist.

I'm attempting to complete fifty large (4' X 4', 4' X 5', 4' X 6') acrylic and ink on canvas paintings by October of this year. I started a few months ago and I've completed eighteen to date. Money has run short and I've turned to Kickstarter to see if I can generate some funding which will be used to buy all the art supplies I need to complete the rest. Canvases this size cost over $100 each. 

These paintings are the products of my (warped?) imagination. Portraits of odd-looking people who don't exist, situations that are absurd, etc. Each one began as a tiny drawing in a notepad, on a scrap of paper, or in a sketchbook.  When I draw, I don't edit. I use a pen so that I can't erase, and I just draw whatever I draw. With few exceptions, I have no plan in mind. I have hundreds of these small drawings, and the ones I like become "big, crazy, colorful, preposterous paintings". And, I'm drawing new ones every day.

I'd like your help purchasing the canvases and paints I need. Even if my Kickstarter project isn't successful, I'll continue to paint. I've painted in many styles in my life, but this is the only style that is uniquely my own.
