Production Timeline
So here is the proposed production timeline given to me by the manufacturer.
I will give you dates based on me giving the Notice to Proceed on March 1st
March 1st- Notice to Proceed
8(to10) weeks for First Articles
April 26th- Review and approval (if First Articles are correct)
8 weeks for First Run
June 28th- Receive Production Run
Begin Shipping
Let me knows what you all think. I was really hoping that this schedule wouldnt be so stretched out, but as an individual with zero history in the industry I don't have much pull.
I really don't like the idea of these things not shipping until the middle of the year but don't know what else I can do.

It's ok Garrett, there's no rush. I still haven't received my LunaTik and my nanon is safe and dry in the box...

Now scott's working on his own port cover. Hmmm...

Sorry, not as optimistic as everyone else. Scott did make some blunders as far as expected delivery, but from gettign his project backed to production and shipping it has been less then 8 weeks. And that's for a far more advance product with several parts needed to complete it. . I know your not on a scale comparing to 940,000 + dollars but I think you can find someone willing to do better then that. Just my thoughts.

Well, making promises based on optimistic timelines isn't a good idea! Just ask Scott Wilson :-P
They must be busy if it takes 8-10 weeks just to get first articles but hey what can you do? Probably they are giving you pessimistic time frames which is good. Middle of the years sounds a long way away, but really we are as good as march when the project funds so, not so far from there.

Hi Garrett. This is great. A realistic and achievable timetable. Hope you get there.
