Artist Tara McPherson to Create a Limited Edition Quiet Girl Sticker
The Coolest Sticker in the History of Kickstarter
I am very pleased to announce a new reward!!! My good friend who so happens to be a world famous artist, Tara McPherson, has generously agreed to create a special, limited-edition sticker for our Quiet Girl backers. Tara's style is perfect for the Quiet Girl aesthetic, her art is feminine yet dangerous, whimsical but also dark.
This reward is not the same as the SILENT VIGILANCE, which is our $10 reward where you get the official Quiet Girl sticker. This is a special THANK YOU for all of our donors at the $75 dollar level, which I am calling SHHHHH because I can't think of any good puns at the moment. If donated at the $50 level, you may want to up your pledge for this special, limited edition Tara McPherson exclusive. This sticker is a depiction of Holly in the Tara style. Holly sort of already has that style. Cute but also a little bit unsettling.
I think she'd fit right in with some of Tara's other characters.
We have lots more to announce in our campaign's second half. Our efforts to create a Quiet Girl series rely on these coming days. Rewarding you in these special ways are how we are trying to say Thank You.

If you are already a fan, maybe you didn't know that she opened her own gallery and storefront in Brooklyn last year. Tara McPherson is an artist based out of New York City, and is the founder of the Cotton Candy Machine art boutique. Creating art about people and their odd ways, her characters seem to exude an idealized innocence with a glimpse of hard earned wisdom in their eyes. Recalling many issues from childhood and good old life experience, she creates images that are thought provoking and seductive. People and their relationships are a central theme throughout her work.
