Kunstemporary Records is proud to present its first release: a split 12" featuring Goldmansacksdotcom and Hiep Hiep Hoera. But we need your help! The costs of doing this prove just too much for us at the moment. Think of this as a pre-order, where your buying the record actually makes the record. Is this exchange of capital the work of art itself? Maybe, but there's a record, too.
This will be a limited pressing of only 100 copies. We have done the recording. We have thought deeply about the sounds to which you should surround yourself. We have thought very hard about what we should record even if it is not recorded.
The cost of each record FOR YOU is LESS than the actual manufacture cost of said record. Your kind contributions will allow the record (to which you will listen) to exist.
We are putting this out because. We appreciate your ability to sit down; and, listen. Listening and existing are not necessarily the point, but the medium of money (kunst=£), sort of, brings those thangs to the forefront. Oh, well.
