Truly, I am beyond words and am deeply humbled by your humanity and generosity. What a world & life lesson and example this experience has been for us all. I have always believed in the importance of this project. I have always believed in my community.
Because of you all, I will be able to finish documenting and preserving the Living Legacy of the Young Lords Party. Because of you all, we will have this document for our children & grand children to bear witness to the power of our people's struggles & victories.
You all deserve the utmost gratitude. You all are the producers of this body of work. I am your servant. I will make you proud.
My promise to you is to create, with the greatest of intentions, the best body of work I can possibly foster and to Honor our YLP members as the creators of a movement that still lives on today.

I thank you all for your generosity in spirit. We are at the ever elusive "Almost there." The finish line is so visible.
My daughter Laila told me this morning before she went to school, "Don't worry Papi, you can do it, it can happen." Those words mean so much to me. They fueled my efforts once again, because in truth, we are doing this for our children.
You have all done some much already, but May I ask for one last effort in spreading the word, one last jolt, one last breath into pushing us forward to our goal and helping to preserve a living legacy for generations to come.
I hope to be celebrating with you all at the finish line.
