The Pacific Northwest's notorious groove merchants are finishing the post production on a much requested live CD.
Over the years, Bump Kitchen has recorded two studio albums and blazed a trail of funk and grooves across the Pacific Northwest. While we love our studio CDs, our fans have wanted the 'no holds barred' energy of our live shows. We are constantly asked 'When will you release a live CD?' Well kiddo, that time is now!
We recorded our shows over two nights at the Yale in Vancouver, B.C. and the tracks sound great. What we hope to accomplish with kickstarter is to raise enough money to complete the mixing and mastering of these live tracks. Our intention is to have the 'Live at the Yale' CD out by late spring 2011.
Bump Kitchen shows are known for intense energy and Tony Harper’s rich, soulful vocals. When they break into harmony on their ballads, you know that you've found the real deal. The Kitchen lays down grooves so solid and intense, you best make sure that there is a fire extinguisher nearby.
