About this project
We communicate the traveling reality of bed & breakfasts and boutique inns for all travelers. There are so many wonderful B&B's in America which sit undiscovered in the shadow of Marriott. We are here to uncover what these places are about for the world.
We are hoping to go from New York to Alaska in 40 days in July and August. While we have been on the road for four years, 100% personally funded, we now need your help.
The money we're asking for will go to getting us to Alaska and back. We also need to upgrade our video production software $250 of these funds will go to buying that software.

A bed and breakfast, boutique inn, hotel review service. Unlike some others in the business, what we see is what you see. There is no staging which goes on, there are no tricks, if we have a bad time, you'll know about it. Usually there is some good and some bad. Once and a while the whole experience glows.

Donations are taken at the Kickstarter page on the green "BACK THIS PROJECT" link. People can donate what they will (above $1) but for different sized pledges, people get different rewards. Please take advantage of these because we want to spread the word around to everyone about SleepHereNow and what it is.

SleepHereNow has never taken any money from anyone. This whole thing came about from my and my wife's experience wanting to share great (and bad) bed and breakfasts with everyone. We provide a service for travelers. We don't take money from advertisers and probably wouldn't even be doing Kickstarter if gas weren't near five bucks a gallon in some parts of the States. Reality caught up to us so we're doing this one small fundraiser to see how the response is. Think of us as the public television of the World Wide Web bed & breakfast community.

High school sweethearts who went to college together, got a place in Manhattan, and lived and produced theatre for eight years. They've been to both coasts and have decided they hadn't seen enough of the middle.

You are not charged anything when you pledge. All you do is say that if the donations reach a certain threshold; if we make the amount we're hoping to in pledges, that you will donate a certain amount. You are not charged, your money is not held, until this level has been reached. If time expires and we are still short, then you don't get charged a dime.
