Update #10: Finally...EPs are on their way! (Plus a live MP3)
Update #9: EP available for listening online!
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that while you're waiting for your hard copy of the EP (or your free high-quality download), you can listen to the whole EP on my Bandcamp page. I'm so excited for you to finally hear it! Within just 2 days of posting the music, it has already generated some press from the blogging world!
I'll be sending out download codes and hard copies of the EP over the course of the next week or so. Which is to say keep an eye on your mailbox and your inbox!
Always, my gratitude,
Scott
Update #8: Your patient waiting is almost over...
Hello good people,
Remember last September when you ponied up your hard-earned cash so that The Common Sinners and I could finish making an EP? Well, I'm happy to report that the waiting is nearly over. The EP is at the factory as I write, and I should have copies in my hand by June 1st!
This means that I'll be sending out copies and downloads within the first week of June, so watch your mailbox and your inbox!
Also, we'll be playing several special EP release shows this summer. More details to follow, but here are the basics:
June 24 / Philadelphia
June 28 / New York City
July 16 / Richmond, VA
I'll be playing several solo shows as well, in Kentucky and North Carolina. Keep an eye on the website for all the necessary info.
Finally, I'm attaching the EP cover, so you can see what it's gonna look like. Angela Miles of Carpe Diem Construction, Co. did the beautiful artwork and design.
Thank you again and always for your support and patient waiting.
Scott

Connected as Scott Pryor (772 friends)
Scott Pryor hails from the woods of North Carolina and Virginia, but now calls Philadelphia home. Drawing on heritage that spans the urban and the rural, Pryor’s songs revel in the grit, bone and redemptive seeds to be found in each. From swimming holes to skyscrapers, from plows to asphalt playgrounds, Pryor stitches together the strange and mundane bits of a weathered and heroic Americana. Filled with wonder and longing, his most recent album, "Theater for the Weary" is ultimately defined by the triumph of earnest joy in spite of the facts — supported by the delight-filled clatter and swoon of his backing band, The Common Sinners.
