It's time for the Six Degree Singers to make a cd!

IT'S TIME!


We're the Six Degree Singers, and we want to record an album! Turns out, that can get a little pricey. 

The Six Degree Singers were born three years ago when a group of friends in Silver Spring, Maryland (a suburb of Washington D.C.) wanted to start making music together. For the most part, we're not vocal professionals, we all have day jobs and just enjoy singing on the side. Nice to keep it out of the shower whenever possible, you know? Our music selections cover a bit of everything — classical, contemporary, renaissance, world, folk — and we've got a thing for local composers, as well as original works.

Being the Six Degree Singers, we thought it only right that we make our sixth season one to remember. Which is where you come in! This season includes some of the most challenging (but also rewarding) pieces we've ever done, and we want to share this music with all of you. But in order to make our CD a reality, we need to raise $3,500 to cover the cost of recording and post-production.
