I'm recording my second collection of original songs, and I need your help to make it happen!

As the video explains, I'm raising money to fund my second album.
This will be a collection of 5 or 6 new original songs, and it will be straight from my heart to your ears! If you have my first record, thanks for listening to it. This album is going to be a little more on the acoustic side. I’m really excited about these songs, and I think you will love them. I believe I’ve grown a lot as a songwriter and artist in these last 1.5 years, and it will show on this album.
You may already know that I spend a lot of time playing bass with other bands. I play shows around the country (sometimes around the world!), and it’s quite an awesome life. I love performing with other artists, but being a sideman doesn’t fulfill the need to get my own music out there. This project will do that.
So I'm trying to raise at least $7,000 to make this record. I know 7 grand is a boatload of cash, but it’s actually a conservative budget for a high quality recording. It's expensive to hire studios, engineers, other musicians, the producer, artwork and design, etc. This amount will ensure that I can finish all the steps with the quality and care needed.
If we don’t reach the fundraising goal, none of the money you pledged will make the journey from your account to mine. This protects you from funding projects that don’t come to fruition. Knowing how amazing and generous the people in my life (you) are, I am confident that we can reach the $7,000 goal! Any money that we raise above the goal will give me even more freedom with the album.
So please spread the word! One of the best ways you can help me is to tell your friends about it. Post about it on Facebook and Twitter, show your friends my music, dress up as Santa on the side of the street and dance with a sign…all good options.
