This documentary film follows an injured sea turtle from rescue, through treatment and, ultimately, to release back into the ocean.
Only one out of 5,000 sea turtles live to see adulthood. Every year many turtles are killed or injured due to human-related perils. A group of dedicated volunteers and animal care professionals respond to reports of injured or sick turtles, at any time, day or night.
Saving these beautiful creatures takes a lot of effort and teamwork. Not all stories have a happy ending but, for the ones who make it, the rescue is the first step towards their journey home.
This 47-min. documentary will tell the story of at least one valiant, injured sea turtle and their road to recovery and triumphant return to the sea.
