What we do:
NO LONGER EMPTY transforms vacant spaces into contemporary public art exhibitions. We aim to fill the general emptiness of these sites with positive energy and works of art/ programming to create both a symbolic and real sense of growth in these times.
In addition, NLE curates a mural program that leaves painted shutters in or around the location of our exhibits- NLE's panel discussions invites prominent speakers to talk about a wide array of topics that are relevant and interesting to the public- NLE arranges an educational art program with local schools to give children a hands-on experience with art education.
Doing this achieves our goals of
1. Giving artists a platform to respond artistically to the recession
2. Positively impacting the immediate community through the increased street traffic
Where the money goes:
Each exhibit and its related events costs roughly $7,500 to put together.
We need the money to sustain this organization, its exhibitions and its programs. With your generous support we can continue to provide wonderful and exciting exhibitions in spaces that were once barren and empty in various communities throughout New York City.
Without your financial donation, this kind of public support of the arts could well be No Longer Existing!
We are open for other rewards (such as private workshop on curating) should you have an alternative suggestion. Please contact us at info@nolongerempty.com to discuss further.

For a $25 donation you can proudly show your support with a No Longer Empty t-shirt and attend panel discussions and music nights for free at the current exhibition.
Up the ante to $100 and your choice between a tshirt or a print, we will offer you an inside look into the organization and its founders by showing you the behind the scene tour as we are installing the show.
Along with a print from one of the artists of a show, this level of donation gives you and group of friends a private tour with the curators of the show, Manon Slome and Asher Remy Toledo. Food and beverage (whether breakfast mimosas or evening cocktails) will be offered.
