Anything above and beyond, will not only help us defray the costs and fees of this campaign, it will give her time to orchestrate EVEN MORE!

Ada is an opera about Ada Byron, daughter of the famed Romantic poet, and one of the most spectacular characters in computer history. Composed by Kim D. Sherman, libretto by Margaret Vandenburg and directed by Lisa Rothe, this opera has been in progress for the past 4 years and we finally have a finished draft. The completed piano score now needs to be scored for full orchestra. We are seeking support to help us take the work to the next level. In seeking a full production, our goal is to orchestrate 30 minutes of the piece to submit to opera companies around the country. We would also like to hire a music director and singers to make a demo.
