Funded!
Our goal has been reached and in the next few minutes our project will be funded!
I'm not sure we can even describe how heartwarming this process has been to us. The support has been incredible. The fact that you have put your faith in us has given us even greater drive to make this book as amazing as we possibly can. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The funding part is over but there is still quite a bit of work left. Jennifer is working on the final paintings for the book (Only 9 left), then we lay the book out, get some test prints made, correct colors and print errors, get the final test copy and finally give the thumbs up for the finished book to be printed.
Jennifer's original watercolors from the book will be on display at Practical Art (5070 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ 85012) from May 1st - 31st. The book will also be available for purchase there as well.
Here are some other important dates:
May 11th 7pm to 9pm - Artist reception at Practical Art
May 13th 2pm - A special reading of the book by Jennifer Campbell at Practical Art We can't wait for you guys to see the finished book.

The home stretch
Hello everyone! Just 6 days left until we find out if this project will be a success. We have had some amazing support in the last three days and are only about 30% away from our goal. Jen has been working hard on the paintings and also has been making the Yeti plushes that backers at $150 and above receive (see picture).
A couple of other exiting bits of news. The Phoenix New Times called us for an interview and should be putting a small article up on their website this week. Also, Jen will now be doing a reading of the book on Mothers Day (May 13th) at Practical Art in Phoenix.
For everyone who has already backed us, thank you so much! You are making our dreams come true and validating a project that has become very dear to us.
We are still about $1500 away. Do you know anyone who might be interested in getting a book or some of our other rewards? Let them know about our project. As always, any shares on Facebook/twitter/tumblr/blog/etc is very much appreciated. Remember, we only get funded if we reach our goal.

I hope I'm not getting on people's nerves...
I have been posting, blogging, emailing, commenting, liking, reblogging, poster-hanging, business-card making and doing it all over again trying to get the word out. It feels like time is flying by...ONLY 18 DAYS REMAIN TO FUND YETI LEAVES HOME.
Over the weekend it was my 24th birthday, and I was going to take just 1 day off the project but I couldn't help but do one tiny status update and reposting of the link.
