We reached our goal, Congratulations and Thank You!
Thank you all for contributing to this years Brick + Mortar International Video Festival. Christoph Cox did an amazing job bringing together a wide range of really compelling video artwork presented in the historic, hart of Greenfield, MA. He was an absolute pleasure work work with in every way, as were the artists that he presented.
Now we turn our focus towards 2012, with next years festival being curated by Denise Markonish, curator at MASS MoCA, North Adams.
Please consider pledging your support for next year by either increasing your donation or by sending me an email to Brad@conjunctionarts.org. I would love to here your thoughts about this years festival and connect with you as we develop support for Denise Markonish's show (see her statement below).
2012-Curatorial Statement
The 4th annual Brick + Mortar International Video Art Festival will have a special focus on Canadian artists and will take place concurrently with the upcoming MASS MoCA exhibition, Oh, Canada, the largest survey of Canadian art ever organized in the United States (on view from May 26, 2012 – April 2013 at MASS MoCA). The Brick+ Mortar 2012 Festival will expand the roster of artists featured at the museum and provide a unique dialogue between the two exhibitions.
Thank you again for your support!
