Brick+Mortar International Video Art Festival, Greenfield, MA. Presenting cutting-edge new media art from around the world since 2009.
WE want to support the CREATIVE TALENT
at the core of the 3rd annual Brick and Mortar International Video Art Festival;
the Artists and the Curator!
Christophe Cox's curatorial vision focuses on sound, music, and relationships of dissonance and consonance between sound and image and on October 14-15, 2011, more than twenty international artists and 19 art projects will be shown in 7 different venues in downtown Greenfield, MA.
In a sneak preview, at a fundraiser hosted by local restaurant extraordinaire Hope & Olive in early September, Christoph had everyone salivating over a snippet of “Soundmaker” by the artist Julian Rosefeldt. We can’t wait to see the rest of the work and to meet some of the artists. We know, from past experience, that this is THE BEST part of the festival.
Over the last two years, artists and their representatives have waived all kinds of fees in a show generosity, good will, and friendship. While we have been humbled by such KINDNESS, we believe artists should get their DUE. So this year, we've redoubled our fund-raising efforts and KICKSTARTIN!!
Your donation will go toward the cost of INSTALLING the art works, bringing 3 to 4 of the ARTISTS to Greenfield for various public ART TALKS during the festival, STIPENDS for each of the artists, and to reward THE CURATOR for the truly remarkable show he is putting together!
Please help us to bring ART, ARTISTS, and the PUBLIC together in the 3rd Brick+Mortar International Video Art Festival in Greenfield, MA, for an AWESOME art experience.
THANK YOU.
