2 Tampa art students paint their way to Washington, bringing inspiration from the American landscape to inspire their Senior Show!
Hello Everybody!
This is Micaela and Sam, we are two art students at the University of South Florida, and this is our last summer before graduation! We have planned a road trip to travel from Tampa, Florida to Seattle, Washington! We have already raised the funds for the trip itself, but we need YOUR help. Here’s why…
As artists, we draw inspiration from the world around us, and we want to broaden our creative horizons. Along the way, we want to create art inspired by our travels. We want to gain inspiration from the boundless beauty and richness of the American landscape, so that we can create a body of work for the last show of our undergraduate career! We want you to experience it with us! If we can get help funding this trip, we can defray the cost of gas and buy all the art supplies we’d need to create art state by state, such as inks, watercolors, acrylics, canvas, and postcards - some of which we want to send to you, our beloved supporters! We both have our own bodies of artwork academically, but we want to break away from the traditional school setting and explore art using America as our classroom, so to speak. Would you like to be a part of the trip??
