Just watched Battlefield of the Mind and let me say it was a great documentary! It makes you think of all the people who you know that this could happen to them any moment and how you would want them to get the support they deserve. By far in my top 3 favorite Documentary.

Just got my completion email and filled it out. Can't wait to watch the movie! I'm a vet (no PTSD), but I've encountered so many who don't get help and so many who don't bother... and so many who are scared to get help because the government will take away their rights (even if they aren't a threat to themselves or others) simply by having the "PTSD" label. The government wastes so much money giving billions of dollars in money and weapons to corrupt foreign countries who hate our guts, yet neglects those here at home who wrote a blank check with their lives. I hope and pray this movie spreads awareness about homeless vets and those with PTSD, and spurs people into taking the right action to help these patriots who sacrificed so much of themselves. Thank you for heading this up and making it happen.

I am very proud to be a backer on this project. I am an Army wife with my hubby currently serving his 4th tour/deployment overseas. I cannot think of anything more fitting to show my support to him, our Army family that we have made over the years and all soldiers. I am very proud and I hope that after this, more people will realize what is truly going on and begin to show more support of our brave men and women. Much love :-)

Congratulations on going above and beyond the goal needed to make this issue aware. As one we can do so much but as a group we can achieve wonderful things like making the film 'shame on America' come to light. I had to back the project twice using 2 emails as I am wanting a copy of this film and then knowing my brother is a huge fan of Aaron Lewis and Staind (we saw him front row and centre at Soundwave in Melbourne Australia) I jumped at the special reward of drumsticks just for him.
It will not be an easy film to make, but it will touch the souls of all those who watch it.
I hope that this project inspires you to find more underlying problems we all face as a society and bring them to light for the world to see too.
Thankyou for letting me be a part of this great cause.

I will never be ashamed to call myself an American, this is still the greatest country on earth. However, as a disabled veteran I am ashamed at how our government has not taken care of those who've fought for this country and come back injured. Scars are not always visible, the mental scars from battle are often more damaging than the physical. I support this project and can't wait for this film to see the light of day. Fran, David, Aaron and all others who have backed this project and are involved in getting it made, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is a story that must be told.

I just want to say...THANK YOU!!! All of your hard work and determination in creating this film is wonderful! This film is necessary for an awakening of all Americans!!! My best friends husband wad injured when his convoy was hit by a road side bomb. Before deployment him and his wife ran a business. And was successful at it. The injury threw shratenal at his head causing brain damage. He has forgotten how to do many things...reading and writing is amongst the many many things he and his family has had to overcome. With 3 children, they had to sell the business and move closer to his wifes job so she can care fo him. Their lives are forever changed. I am looking forward to the completion of this film! However hard it is going to be to watch!!!

Just wanted to say how proud I am to have played a small part in this project and thank you and Aaron for all you do.About a week before my son passed away he came to my home and when he pulled up he honked his horn for me to come out,said "Mom I have the baddest song I want you to hear", It was Aaron Lewis ,"Country Boy".It was the first song I had played at his funeral.He was still such a patriot even having suffered PTSD for many years before loosing his final battle on May 25th 2011 at he age of 26,he would have supported your cause completely.Once again THANK YOU!

This is a great cause and I enjoyed donating, as did my wife. I do have a question though since I've never used Kickstarter. My wife pledged $50 with the drum sticks, and I pledged $75 for the snare drum head. Can we do another pledge of $25 to ensure we get the signed DVD without it wiping out our other pledge? Thanks!

As the spouse of a US Army SFC Retired after 22 years and multiple deployments and a mother of a newly commissioned son, I have seen these soldiers come home a changed person. It's sad to see that the men and woman that have served to protect our freedom and rights have been displaced by the people that have sent them into battle. It's mind blowing to see them struggling day after day to try and fit into society and live a normal life and inside they struggle with no place to turn to for help.
Why ? well blame it on politicians and not taking care of their own! I stand by to help at any chance to lend a hand to a fallen HERO and his and her family.

You are, what this is country supposed to stand for and some place along the past 30 years we have forgotten the US Constitution and what it stands for and who protects it. GOD BLESS all are service men and woman , Thank You, Thank You, Thank You....

I love this. What you are doing is for a serious and major issue that I see on a daily basis. I am currently a Sgt in the army and although I do not suffer from PTSD I know many and many of my comrades do. I love serving and wished I could continue to serve for years to come. These troops need more than what is provided. I am medicaly discharging from the army. The Medical discharge process only covers so much of PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries. On top of that not all soldiers are able to come out with things they have done or seen that have affected them in this manner. Y'all are so good for doing this and making it known how serious this issue is. Wish I could have supported more... Thank You.
