Hi Friends,

Here’s a fun story for you ~ my super special K.S. backer!  The second day Brian and I were in Nashville recording, I peed on a stick and it said that I was PREGNANT!!!  We are 4 months along now and are both quite excited about this new addition to our family!

 While much of my energy has been devoted to growing a healthy baby, I’ve also been having fun watching these new songs come to life and enter the world in a form that you can enjoy at home or wherever you go!  I’ve been busy working with designers who have been creating your CD art, stickers, T.shirts & more.  I’ve also been making Skype calls to sing to friends and strangers.  A few of you bought a custom piece of AMG art; so it’s been a blast getting my brushes wet to create some original work for you!

The CDs are in route to my house in Boulder, as I type, and I can hardly wait to mail them all out to you with love in a couple weeks!  If you have not yet given me your mailing address, please do so.

Hi Friends,

Brian and I just had the time of our lives in TN and we have you to thank for that!  Two families warmly hosted us while we were there, the Williams let us borrow a car, the Sutherlands gave us Southwest buddy passes!!!!... so needless to say, this project took a village to build and we'll be forever grateful!

During our 9 focused days in the studio, we got to work closely with our brilliant producer, Andrew Osenga, and along side some of the best musicians we've come across (men full of talent and humility)!

The songs now need to be mixed, master & duplicated... and will hopefully be floating into your ears this Spring!!!  Check out Video # 2 below ~ it even has a space ship in it :)   Much love from me to you  ~ ali

Oh Man oh man!   First week in the studio has been great.  We go all the song overhauled and sketch out, then laid down drums, bass, and some rhythm guitar on all 10 tunes.  Keys are happing Monday and then guitars and vocals for the rest of the week.  Good fun times with good fun people.

Hey Y'all -

Last night, at about 10pm, we hit our Kickstarter goal!!!!  You're gonna get sick of me saying Thank you, cause I'm it's just gonna keep happening :) 

I'm humbled and honored by your amazing generosity and am beyond excited to bring these new songs into to world!  Thanks to you, we will head to Nashville at the end of the month to work with legendary producer, Andrew Osenga, & by the Spring, we hope that you will be rocking out to our new tunes!

People have been asking if there is any benefit to seeing the Kickstarter amount continue to climb... and the answer is, "abso-flip'n-lutely!"  Our goal of 7,777 is actually about half of what we need to cover our recording, mixing, mastering, printing, & promo costs.  The higher our Kickstarter amount climbs, the less we will have to borrow from a private investor.  The campaign will end @ 7pm MST on Jan. 7th.

You all are Rock'n my socks off - thanks for your generous contributions to this Kickstarter campaign! You are really making this thing happen. Some highlights: A friend paying $37 for a sticker, 2 friends pre-purchasing house shows!, a Skype call this Xmas to sing to our friends in England, a Mom purchasing a Skype song for her 16 years old daughter who is studying abroad in Spain & 57 other cool  Backer stories - THANK YOU! We're up to $5910 of our $7777 goal - so that means we only need $1867, by Jan. 7th, to hit our goal (or else we don't get any of the money!!!!). I'm hopeful. - Below is a picture of an original AMG oil painting called, 'Decaf Italian' - perhaps you know someone who might like a custom piece of art painted by yours truly?!  There is an incentive for an original AMG oil or watercolor painting...
