After a full year and a half on the road Megan Jean and the KFB has written and refined a great album and are ready to record!
This past year has been amazing. We have traveled 70,000 miles from New England to the Gulf Coast and back bringing our music to those who want to hear it. We've sold 4,000 copies of our first full-length album "Dead Woman Walkin'," which we made thanks to our first kickstarter campaign. We are very lucky people to get to do what we do, even without the help of management, a booking agent, or a record label. Since we released our last album "Dead Woman Walkin'" we hit the road hard and refined our music. We are very excited to record our second full length album "The Devil Herself" This album will feature what we feel is our best material, including "These Bones" which was featured on PBS' "Music Voyager".
We plan to record the album in late November, go through the mixing and mastering process, and put together a special limited edition Megan Jean & the KFB art book with artwork, photos, lyrics, and road stories, for a full on release in early Spring 2013.
