          I am a published singer/songwriter on a major record label and a touring musician for a band called Close to Home. After our last tour i was home with my pregnant wife for a few weeks. I really wanted to find a part time job but i was injured on our last tour and was barely able to walk for over two weeks. It was during this downtime i discovered a new passion for writing fiction. Out of nowhere this story came to me and i started writing. I have always been a creative person and a huge fan of the Sci-Fi/ Horror genres. I'm also and avid reader and a huge fan of Science fiction books and satirical authors as well, like Chuck Palahniuk and Kurt Vonnegut. You may see a small taste of their style infused with my own.

"They say the world was created in seven days, it only took seven days for us to lose it."

 Seven Days is a great original story about close friends overcoming the odds and surviving on earth when an invasion kills all but 2% of the population and turns the infected into something much worse before they perish in a violent bloody way. This story will keep you guessing and even laughing from time to time at the sarcastic and sometimes vulgar narrator/main character. It might even scare you a little.

This novel has been consuming hundreds of hours of time, i am currently half way through day 6 out of 7 in the story and writing for several hours a day and there's still a ton of editing, revising and adding to do.

This fund will allow me to finish this project as well as allowing me to hire an artist for the cover design and an editor. I will also be seeking out publishing in both the physical and digital book world as well. If i can manage to raise enough money i would love to hire a screen writer to adapt this story for film as well.
