We are so much more than housewives and Jersey Shore--and the Know This! Tour is going to prove it. Today, where sex tapes and scandal rule our mainstream media, you'd think there weren't many 20- and 30-somethings making moves and making a difference. BUT THERE ARE. All across the country, and if nobody else wants to feature them, Know This! will happily do the job.
Know This!, the online talk show at www.knowthis.tv inspiring you to “Know Yourself and Know Your World,” is readying a 16-city U.S. talk show and speaking tour. Kicking off in New York City on August 29, creator and host Ariana Proehl will be showcasing some of our country’s top next generation leaders and creative entrepreneurs.
Whether in media, music, arts, business, politics or public service, Know This! will bring viewers empowering stories of people with a passionate purpose, as well as critical looks at current issues facing today’s young adults. While the mainstream media continues to paint the picture that we’re a country of house, hip hop and basketball wives, Know This! is determined to remind viewers that we are much more diverse and dynamic than those one-dimensional images, and that stories that educate and empower are entertaining, too.
The show’s five-minute, pre-recorded episodes will air weekdays on www.knowthis.tv for the duration of the tour. The tour spans ten weeks, with three to four days in most cities and culminates in Washington, D.C. on November 1.
With a tour manager and videographer in tow, Know This! needs your support in funding the tour's transportation (car rental & air travel) and some production costs.
