Wow, thanks for all the support! We're not even in day 3 yet and we're already cruising at around 20%! That's great!
Let's talk stretch goals! I know it's a bit early for it, but what the heck, let's do it!
Once we hit 100%, I will immediately (or at least as fast as I can get to a computer) change the rewards to include character sheet PDFs and a physical character sheet bundle for $50 and up. I'll also introduce Blank Verse, a very tiny RPG that will come bundled as a PDF.
I could tell you about the Secret Game that will be unlocked, but then I'd have to kill you, and I'd lose backers. Wait, no, that's a total fabrication. I COULD tell you about the Secret Game, but there's no fun in that! Rest assured, there is one. :D
I'll leave you with some thoughts on opening scenes, straight from 15 Minutes: Get Yours.
"Basically, each story should start with a BANG. None of this “How we met” business. If it’s important, tell it later in flashbacks. The first scene should be a pressure cooker, preferably one where success and failure won’t end the game. For instance, in the political setting, starting with victory speeches would be a great idea. Starting with voting night, awaiting the results, not so much. The first insures that the players are all going to Washington (or the capitol of the state, or another country, or whatever), the second doesn’t. In the second, if the group fails, then the game becomes awkward and forced as each candidate works to try again. While success or failure won’t kill the game, the first remains a pressure cooker: This is the candidates first speech as an elected official!"
