Pop Tree is a modern ode to a great holiday tradition - the Christmas tree.  It is an alternative tree with an updated and artistic construction and design that can be displayed a number of ways.

Inspired by Japanese origami and pop-up paper art, the Pop Tree aims to be simple and beautiful.  Made of silk-screened recycled chipboard and birch plywood, the unfolded Pop Tree brings life to a flat, inconspicuous object.

Pop Tree is also a practical option for those living in cramped quarters. It is easy to assemble, store, and takes up very little space when mounted.

The first limited run of the Pop Tree will be manufactured locally in Los Angeles, California.

The tree is first hand screen-printed in Venice, California using water based inks onto recycled chipboard. Then the chipboard sheets and birch plywood backing is laser cut at a small manufacturing studio near Downtown Los Angeles. Our hope is to be able to make this product available to more people and be able to solve other everyday design problems.  With your support, we hope to purchase equipment that will help us create more tree designs, more patterns, and give you more options for next year.

Above anything else, though, our wish is for Pop Tree to serve as an instant reminder of the wonder and joy of the holidays.
