Update #10: Heading Out

Posted on April 30, 2011

The final production begins. We push off tomorrow morning for an 18 hour drive and 8 hour ferry ride. We arrive in Skidegate early on Tuesday morning, meet with the elders at the Skidegate Haida Immersion Program at 10am, then meet with Dolly Garza at 11:45 to plan for a beach walk and seaweed harvest at low tide the next morning. I'll try to update you here where I can, and if I get enough followers I *may* do some twittering, which I am just getting the hang of: http://twitter.com/#!/benjagreene

Thank you for your interest, donations and encouragement. I really appreciate every word of support from everyone so far. It means a lot to me.

Have a great month and keep an eye out for the occasional update right here (or maybe on twitter).

Warmest Regards,

Ben
