Things I Believe:

I believe music is the one thing that unifies us all. Regardless of race, gender, sexual preference or culture. I believe people need good music to function. I believe music saved my life & the lives of others. I believe artists need the same space & opportunity to create as anyone else, but often don't get it because the funding isn't there. When our schools cut funding, the first program they cut is the music program. It seems everyone wants the luxury of listening to their music for free, but they don't realize how much it costs to produce the high quality music the people need/want.

I believe young people need positive examples that aren't filthy rich. I believe young women need a voice. I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I believe things always get better. I believe music gets us through the storm. I believe there is Joy After The Rain. We've all seen the storm & we've all rejoiced at the sight of the sun. This is why I'm giving my fans, family & friends the opportunity to tell this story with me.

JOY AFTER THE RAIN:

The material on this album is the best material I've ever written. It's honest & it's a story we can all relate too. Life can be extremely complicated but I've discovered while writing & recording this album, that the worst circumstances cause us to be our highest selves. Every single person on this earth has unlimited potential that unfortunately lies dormant until we are faced with a challenge. Human life is extremely complex, yet it's so simple. We all want to love & to be loved & we find out the most amazing things about ourselves in the process.

My producer Harold 'Levelsoundz' Shawn has been dedicated to this project as well & I can confidently say this music is of very high quality. We've been very hard on ourselves  & each other pushing each song to it fullest potentional. We've commited ourselves to making a statement with this music & we won't rest until it is complete.


WHAT WE NEED:

Fortunately, we have great friends who have done tons of things for us for free. We've cut a lot of corners & have even taken to recording the vocals to this project in the living room of my small apartment. If we want this to sound/look as professional as possible we need money for mixing/mastering & pressing this beautiful project so that you (my fans) can have physical copies of this album.

We've already raised $1,000 on our own & we just need $1500 more for mixing & pressing.

WHY WE NEED IT:

I have put in a lot of blood, sweat & tears over the years. I've sacrificed comfortable living for the ability to do my music. Not only does my music make me happy, I know it makes other people happy & I know that I am an inspiration to someone, somewhere who thinks that they can't do what they want to do.  I do my music for me & for you so I wanted to include you in the process. Your donations will guaruntee a few different perks & that proves that I truly am joy - for - the - people. We are in this process TOGETHER.
