What is this all about? This is a project sponsored by a few creative individuals aimed at raising money to create creative, inspiring t-shirts showcasing the artistic abilities of those in our community. We will use the money raised in this project to fund the purchase of t-shirts, silk-screening materials, ink, tote bags and other supplies to make this happen! The t-shirts will then be sold at a very reasonable price. All proceeds will benefit the annual week-long Summer's End Radical Youth Empowerment Conference.

What if you exceed your goal of $300? All money we receive above the $300 goal will go toward scholarships for Summer's End.

How can I get my hands on a shirt? You have several options. Option one: Once we receive enough money to fund the purchase of more supplies, we will be creating t-shirts at a low cost. We've already created several batches and have experience making these shirts look beautiful-- we simply need help funding the cost of supplies to make more! Option two: If you choose to donate a certain amount of money to this project, you will receive a t-shirt as a thank you for your help. See donation rewards to the right for more information!

What will be on the shirts? If you are receiving a shirt as a donation reward, then you have a choice of images. To see them, click on "Updates" and both images are posted! The first is a classic Summer's End t-shirt design, a collage of faces and momentos specific to SE history. This image has been used in the past on t-shirts as well as on the cover of a zine created by a community member, and is widely loved. Your other option is a picture of several people in our community playing tug of war with the world ball at SE 2009. If you are familiar with Summer's End, you can identify the significance of these images. If not, feel free to make up whatever meaning you like. It may be more fun that way :)

What sizes and colors are available? You can choose any size from S-XL. These are Unisex, pre-shrunk t-shirts. Your color options are: white, black, aqua/teal, forest green, red, yellow, royal blue, light blue, deep blue, maroon, dark pink, light pink, grey, orange, light green, and possibly more depending on what other colors are released.

When will I receive my shirt? Once this ends, on May 1st, emails will be sent out asking for color and sizes, as well as addresses. Once we receive your information, t-shirts will be screen printed and mailed. You will receive them within two weeks. If you are due to receive a hand-crafted thank you card, you will receive it immediately after April 5th, but if you are receiving a shirt reward then your card will arrive WITH your shirt.

What if I want to donate, but don't want a 'reward'? That's fine, too, and much appreciated! Select the amount you'd like to donate and then press the button stating that you don't want a reward despite the amount.
