One week stay in my lovely although modest 3 room apartment with balcony in Berlin any time between mid June and end of October. Located on a quiet street in Prenzlauerberg, about a 5 minute bike ride from the center of town, this neighborhood was the outsider artist center of the former DDR, now trendy and full of young families. The apartment is fully furnished and comes with use of a bike, washing machine, DSL, phone. Utilities included. Additional consecutive weeks available for $200 each week. Summer in Berlin anyone? A new kind of happening for an evolving culture, the bicycle music festival (BMF) merges a 1200 Watt pedal-powered P/A system, zero use of cars and trucks, and an eclectic crew of world class musicians and volunteers. The entire experience is all human powered by setting up our bikes on stage, connecting them to generators, and having audience members pedal to power the system.
