The last weekend of our campaign!
Hoi Chummers!
So here we are, and it's the last weekend of our Kickstarter Campaign. It’s been a hell of a ride so far. Over the last 3 and a half weeks we found many supporters, plenty of people excited about our project, and we can truly say that we also found new friends, who’ve been working with us day and night to get the word out, and to get us to our current pledge level of $320.000. A very deep, humble and sincere THANK YOU to all of you. Without you this wouldn’t have been possible. And of course a big THANK YOU to everybody who has pledged so far. Your level of commitment has been incredible, and words cannot express how grateful we are.
...so what’s new for today? Let’s jump right to it.
New CO-OP Tier!!
Had you been playing Shadowrun years ago? But now your runner group has moved away to other parts of the country or even the world, making it hard to get together, and enjoy adventures in the Sixth World? Well, this is one of the main reasons we decided to create Shadowrun Online. We want people to be able to once again, play together. And to stress that, we have added a new tier at $166 for runner groups of 4. Basically this is the $50 tier times 4! So get your friends back together, and slip back in to the shadows of the mean streets of Shadowrun, online!
A little fun for the weekend
Making the Kickstarter videos has been a lot of work! Our first video took up to 18 hours of filming within a 24 hour period. So we'd also like to express a big thank you to our great crew and especially our Design Director Tom, who did all the camera work, and also was the driving force behind all the other great update videos we’ve created so far. Just to confirm what Mr. McDougle's saying, the devs have stated that non-combat situation movement will be real-time not turn based. You enter turn-based movement for combat and circumstances that require it. The social hubs will be real-time movement as well. ^_^

That is exactly how it is planned(only the details have to be layed out). ;)
SRO won´t have AP though, but free simple and complex actions(similiar to the original tabletop Shadowrun game).

I know it's off topic but I happend to play Jagged Alliance Online recently and I really liked the gameplay and battle mechanics but one thing that annoyed me was the movement inbetween battles was turn based and goverened by AP too, I think that Shadow Run Online would benefit from having an "ap-less" movement system in which upon spotting an enemy or getting spotted yourself, would procede to then have movement governed by AP. Does anyone else agree?
Other than that I really like the vibe and aesthetics of the games's prototype so far and hope you guys get funded!
