Multi-layered world view video and an AMA
Hoi chummers,
7 days to go and make the funding goal. We are all giving it our very best and have prepared a new video on our multi-layered world view concept. AND we have scheduled an AMA on reddit.com for Wednesday Aug. 8th at 3pm EST. Be there to ask us..well anything.
Make sure to vote the AMA up even if you don't mean to attend. Just go here. We have already answered some questions from the first few chummers showing up before we even announced it, but we will save the rest for tomorrow!
Let's lead with Jeff showing us a bit more on multi-layered perception and contextual gameplay:
Eye openers
The world view layers allow players to uniquely perceive the game’s environment, NPCs and enemies as they receive different information from the game’s interface based on their character’s skills and abilities. This new form of contextual gameplay allows players to interact differently with ‘their’ individual world layers. A Hacker may be interacting with access nodes, security devices and hostile drones in Augmented Reality, while a Street Samurai can perceive weaknesses in the enemy’s armor or see the cover benefits granted by objects in the world. Mages can sense the life essence and magical abilities of enemies and objects through walls and even see augmentations on living beings as “essence dead zones”.
By combining these world views members of a team can support each other’s tactical decisions while players can experience the world and its challenges from very different perspectives – a game concept our team is quite excited about!

If you're at the $50 pledge level or above, and your friend pledges at the $25 pledge level or above, then YOU get a free SRO collectible tabletop miniature! - I know, you know, but sharing it again for everyone else :)
All you have to do is after your friend pledges, YOU send a message (you can use the send message link on the kickstarter page) to Cliffhanger telling them you referred a friend, withyour friends name, and what email address they pledged with. AND, tell your friend to send a message telling them he or she was referred by you with your name and the email address you pledged with!
Cliffhanger will take note, and confirm it after the project has been funded!
