Wowie zowie! You guys rock! Thank you *so* much for your generous pledges, which have allowed me to reach my goal for the Puzzlefest. It is on. Very ... much ... on. People can, of course, continue to make pledges until November 1, but knowing the project is funded gives me more time to work on the puzzles, which I appreciate, and I already have two top-notch test-solvers ready to do their stuff. I was shooting for a December 1st release date for the Puzzlefest, but now I'm thinking the puzzles will be ready by the week of Thanksgiving.
Thanks to my friends and family for helping with this. Thanks to my sweetheart's friends and family for their support, too. Thanks to Jim Horne, Orange, Rex Parker, and Ryan & Brian for spreading the word via their crossword blogs. If you heard about this some other way, please send me a message and let me know how.
Oh, and if there are still some people you want to invite along on the Puzzlefest, by all means extend the invitation. The more the merrier!
Best,
Patrick
